During the morning service on Easter Sunday, 23rd March, a member of our fellowship was Baptised.

On Good Friday morning we joined other churches from around Strood in a Walk Of Witness and open air worship service. The Walk Of Witness
started from English Martyrs Roman Catholic Church and we then walked down to Strood town centre for the open air service. After the service all
were invited to return to the church hall at English Martyrs for a hot cross bun and cuppa.

On Saturday 15th March 2008 we had the induction of Rev. Barry Dobell as minister of Frindsbury Baptist Church. The induction service was held
at Hilltop School and was led by Rev. Norman Tharby, Regional Minister. Approximately 150 people were there to witness this special occasion in
the history of Frindsbury Baptist Church. After the service we returned to the church buildings for a light tea and refreshments.

During 2007 FBC celebrated their 80th anniversary.
To celebrate this we held many activities including a family fun day on the playing fields of Hilltop school,
a week long arts & crafts and FBC history exhibition showing the work of some of the fellowship,
a family concert
and
a service of celebration

Other activities that have happened during the past year include coffee mornings in aid of various charities
and
concerts carried out by Medway singers also in aid of various charities.
