Who is Andy Blake?

Andy Blake has recently started his own charity called HELPER in Kigoma, Tanzania.

After several years working as a pilot flying for MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) Andy has recently taken the Lords guidance in moving on from MAF and has just taken a giant leap of faith in setting up a new charity called HELPER.

Some of the work HELPER  hope to be involved in includes recognising God's true place for women as helper - not as one oppressed, taken advantage of, used but not respected, but one in equality with the man. Seeking to affirm widows and their children, especially the girls and to help them get Secondary Education and so break the cycle of unjust hopelessness in one generation.

HELPER stands for:- Hopeful Educated Loved Prepared Empowered Released

Andy has a great sense of humour and applies this to everything he does and everybody he meets. Andy is supported by several churches in the Medway towns including the strong links that he has with ours.
